lasagnalove.org – Feed families, spread kindness, strengthen communities. Our mission is not only to help address the incredible rise in food insecurity among families, but also to provide a simple act of love and kindness during a time full of uncertainty and stress.

Every Life Matters – Empowering Voices, Transforming Lives from the penal system, joblessness, and homelessness to create prosperity and dignity for every life in Georgia.

Humane Society located on Sallie Mood – Volunteers help in many departments within HSGS! From dog walking, helping at special events, assisting in the thrift store, cleaning and caring for our feline, canine and small furries, providing front desk support, landscaping/facility maintenance tasks, HSGS volunteers do it all!  We welcome kind hearted individuals of all ability levels who are ready to help make a difference at HSGS!

TRAPS – Trapping, Rescuing, Advocating, and Providing Support – Join us in making a difference for lost and vulnerable pets in our community. At TRAPS, we believe that trapping should be a last resort. Our mission is to educate, support, and empower the public to help reduce the burden on municipal shelters, prevent escapes and reunite lost pets with their families. 

Minis 2 Love is a non-profit organization that uses miniature horses to provide emotional support to children and adults suffering from long term illness, loss of a loved one, as well as those who are in crisis.

UGA Marine Education and Aquarium  and Georgia Sea Grant  – Volunteering with Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant is a great opportunity to build and connect with your community, learn new skills, gain experience in marine science or education or mentorship of others

Oatland Island Wildlife Center​​​​The mission of the Oatland Island Wildlife Center of Savannah is to provide guests with memorable experiences to help them make stronger connections to the natural world. Oatland Island Wildlife Center has a variety of opportunities for individuals from individual events to monthly commitments. We welcome anyone over the age of 18 to apply for our Adult Volunteer Program. 

Renegade Paws RescueRenegade Paws Rescue is a volunteer-based rescue dedicated to saving the lives and providing the highest level of care to unwanted, abused, or injured dogs in the Savannah, GA/Coastal Empire region.

 P.A.C.K. – People of Action Caring for KidsWe provide hunger-free weekends. One in five children in Coastal Georgia lives in a situation where having enough food to eat is not guaranteed. PACK is a 100% volunteer-run organization whose volunteers assemble and deliver 5,400 weekend meal bags each week to food-insecure children through 42 Chatham County schools and community centers. We also support over 1,000 vulnerable children each year through the PACK Cottage and PACK Boutique programs.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Coastal Empire – For critically ill or injured children and their families, the Ronald McDonald House Charities© (RMHC©) of the Coastal Empire can be the most important House they will ever visit. RMHC© of the Coastal Empire is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that provides a restful, comfortable place for children and their families to find refuge and support as they receive medical treatment at our nearby hospitals.

At EmployAbility, individuals, groups, and students play a vital role by volunteering their expertise, either alongside our program participants or through task-oriented projects. Whether you’re passionate about art, music, gardening, accompanying groups on field trips, or have a particular skill or interest that you’d like to contribute, we’re happy to have you as a volunteer!

Gilliard and Company is a 501(c)(3) charity that provides through advocacy, charitable works and contributions, as well as implementation of services and programs to soothe trauma, and end homelessness for current foster children/ young adults.

Friends of Urban Nature (FUN) Savannah – a local cleanup group making a big impact on some of Savannah’s neglected green and nature supporting spaces. We organize monthly cleanups and welcome anyone who wants to get involved! Our goal is to restore and advocate for a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable Savannah

One Love Animal Rescue – Since 2013, we’ve helped over 7,300 abandoned, neglected, abused, and unwanted pets in the Savannah, GA area by partnering with shelters, rescue groups and the community.

Hot Mess Express to our community! This nationwide nonprofit is all about women helping women—offering judgment-free support through cleaning, organizing, and providing a fresh start to those in need.

The Savannah Quilt Guild sews pillow cases for the local hospital to provide to patience. Those pillow cases are very cheery and allow for conversation. This group also sews bags for the “Beads of Honor” program, quilts for project “Linus” (children in foster care). We already have several men in our group, come join us!! Great group of people! Caring and giving back to the community!
